Payment Solutions Project Manager
Job Purpose
The role of the Global payments Solutions Project Manager is to drive and support delivery of projects that are aligned with the overall business objectives and corporate strategy, working across all business areas and in cooperation with all operations and functions. This role requires a relentless and innovative pursuit in implementing best in class service solutions for card payment processing. '
The Global payments solutions project manager , will work closely with the Regions / Country management & CoEs, to understand their needs / challenges, providing solutions and recommendations to meet requirements.
Key Result Areas
- Project manage the delivery of innovative ideas and solutions for card payment services that will increase revenue growth and reduce costs through effective planning and project management.
- Initiate and develop key strategic partnerships with leading business experts from the card payment industry to drive best in class card payment solutions & to implement / provide dynamic payment solutions to our business & customers.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve quality, cost and time factors, consistent with business objectives.
- Perform root cause analysis on transfers / chargebacks to find defects / outliers that are causing bad debt to increase. Ensure appropriate report out is completed and distributed to Senior Management.
- Manage the program’s budget, monitoring expenditures and costs against this budget and delivering to agreed costs.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- To provide the Project Financial Analysis with an accurate financial model of projected benefits, (Project Finance, ROI analysis).
- To maintain Project Status information, providing Hertz with up-to-date project information for financial and customer satisfaction forecasting, guaranteeing continuous alignment with PMO.
- To inform the Project Sponsor/Champion with latest project progress, by identifying/resolving potential roadblocks and exploring other potential projects opportunities.
- Drive process improvement to improve financial performance.
- Carry out post implementation reviews of all programs / projects to ensure that original goals / requirements are being met.

Mandatory Requirements:
Professional Experience:
- Strong background in Project Management – minimum of 3 years experience.
- Proven record of implementing strategic projects in a large Organization.
- Relevant third level qualification or equivalent certification in project management (PMP / PMI / Lean Six Sigma).
Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of the card payment industry. (Preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of requirements for car rental industry is essential
- Strong business Accumen

- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Proactive, self-driven and motivated with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
- Ability to plan, prioritise and execute with a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with ambitious objectives
