Job Description:

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual Security Officer.

Prospective hires will work regularly but on an as needed basis with a sporadic schedule. This is a strong opportunity for those interested to join the Cabell team and grow with us.

At Cabell Huntington Hospital, the philosophy and intent of Security is to protect and prevent illegal or unauthorized activity in the Hospital or on its campus. In accomplishing that cause, we serve,helpand protectourpatients, visitors, and employees in a variety of different manners.

Past experience in security, law enforcement or military is preferred. Basic computer skills (including typing, keyboarding and/or using a mouse) are helpful.Strong interpersonal skills are required.Candidates must have good writingand communication skills.Basic First Aid knowledge is preferred.

We expect a clean professional appearance and a dedication to over-the-top, quality customer service.

Casual employees work on anas needed basis.

Job Requirements :

• Possess a valid Operators Licenses
• A clean criminal and motor vehicle record
• Meet Hospital Insurance Carrier requirements Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, and crouch.
  • Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing environmental conditions.
  • Must possess ability to hear and interpret two-way radio calls.
  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Must be able to run.
  • Visual and hearing acuity required.
  • Must meet requirement of Cabell Huntington Hospital Insurance Provider.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
