SENTEL Corporation is seeking technically qualified, energetic individuals to serve as General Clerk II providing support for various Army Reserve materiel management and property accountability programs. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires familiarity with the terminology of the office unit. The General Clerk selects appropriate methods from a wide variety of procedures or makes simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides and manuals.
The clerical steps often vary in type or sequence, depending on the task. Recognized problems are referred to others.
The General Clerk follows clearly detailed procedures in performing simple repetitive tasks in the same sequence. Responsibilities would include filing pre-coded documents in a chronological file, or operating office equipment, (e.g., mimeograph, photocopy, addressograph or mailing machine).
Other duties that may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess two years of related experience.
Certificate, Licenses, Registration, Clearance:
Must be able to obtain a NAC-I level clearance at the agency level and able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance if required.
Computer Skills:
Candidate must possess basic knowledge Microsoft Office;
- specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

May be times when an employee is exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Rarely will an employee be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
