This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefit based position with an assignment end date of June 30, 2014
Detailed Description
The Professional Development Passport Program is a graduation requirement of all undergraduate business majors at USD.  We are looking for a part-time person to act as a liaison between staff, faculty and students, and who will help maintain the integrity of the Passport database and SBA Events Calendar.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Events
    • Approve events and enter them into the SharePoint calendar and correct inaccuracies
    • Send letters to organizations with instructions and Passport sign-in sheet
    • Collect Passport sign-in sheets and enter points into Passport database. 
    • Follow up and resolve complaints of Passport points not entered correctly or missing
    • Follow up with organizations on missing Passport Sign-in sheets
  • Forms – Internship and LinkedIn
    • Review and approve Passport Internship forms and enter points into database
    • Review LinkedIn exercise and enter points into database
  • Inquiries from Faculty and Campus Organizations
    • Answer questions about seeking approval for Passport events.  Send Passport Event form link.   
    • Answer questions about the number of points awarded for an event
  • Database
    • Enter new business students into the Passport database
    • Correct database inaccuracies: emails, student info etc.
    • Run database queries upon request
    • Upload Senior Surveys into database
  • Large-scale Communications:
o    Send reminder emails to Seniors about missing Passport points.  Ask for clarification on graduation date, encourage them to see their advisor if their date has changed and change it online.  Send links about ways to earn Passport points.
o    Send students to SBA Career Services to work out plan for completion.
o    Faculty Outreach about Passport Program
o    Post signs outside of classrooms about Passport requirements
o    Attend Grad Day to answer questions about missing Passport points

This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefit based position with an assignment end date of June 30, 2014


Job Requirements
·         BA/BS or higher
·         Experience with data entry
·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
·         Excellent written communication skills and positive customer service outlook
·         Detail oriented

Background check:  Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Additional Details
Salary: $13.00 per hour

Hours: 10-20 hours per week
