The Reimbursement Analyst serves as lead and specialist in the performance of account adjustment/reimbursement activities. Performs data downloads, imports and otherwise updates systems; calculates and reconciles contractual adjustments required for managed care contracts and government payors (i.e., Medicare and Medicaid); and works with log clerks and others as necessary to assist in ensuring timely and accurate account adjustment/reimbursement process.
- Five (5) years experience in patient accounting healthcare reimbursement, OR Associate's degree in Business or related field.
- Knowledge of patient accounting or electronic remittal systems.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ten (10) key calculators, personal computers and computer spreadsheet programs.
