Administrator, System Microsoft
Systems administration position involving management of multiple Windows servers in a highly dynamic environment. Work as part of a team in support of operational and project related activities. Provide technical and operational support to other departments and teams as required in support of business objectives.
  • Display strong inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated and able to meet objectives with little or no direct supervision.
  • Provide 24 x 7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members.
  • Provide troubleshooting for applications and systems.
  • Provide technical support for Windows related project activities.
  • Build and modify systems to meet project and user requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Apply patches and upgrades to operating systems and layered software as required.
  • Provide operations and support of XML Gateway services.

Qualifications

Desired
  • Two to five years experience in a Microsoft environment.
  • Proven competency with most Windows commands/utilities.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Domain administration/AD.
  • System installation and configuration experience.
  • Experience using various monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with HP hardware.
  • Familiarity with SAN, NAS and other storage technologies.
  • Familiarity with EMC and/or HP disk arrays.
  • Working knowledge of XML Gateway services and supporting software/appliances.
  • Working knowledge of WSDL, XML, and SOAP
     
  • A degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Education
Minimum Required
·         High School Diploma/GED
