Job Description
•Reviews, analyzes, evaluates and applies solutions to end-user support requests for the organization’s mission-critical payroll and other SQL-based applications.
•Troubleshoot business applications to resolve technical related issues including application and data problems.
•Develops, maintains, and executes testing plans for business applications including initial implementations, enhancements, or upgrades.
•Develops and maintains technical documentation for business applications, services, processes, and support. Manages support requests and participates in developing, supporting, and meeting the team and department Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
The success of this position relies on experience and judgment in planning and accomplishing a variety of complicated tasks within predetermined deadlines. All candidates must have an understanding of general business principles, and how to translate business needs into quality technical solutions. A genuine focus on internal customer satisfaction and a positive, friendly demeanor is required. This position will require interfacing with a large breadth of internal users. The position requires a self-motivated individual.
Responsibilities / Duties:
•Provide support for various business applications in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
•Assist with problem analysis and decision making with internal clients and team members
•Interface with and escalate to external software vendor as well as internal support and development teams
•Create, maintain, and modify SQL stored procedures, triggers, views, jobs, and ETL packages
•Document processes and help design improvements
•Communicate clearly and professionally with internal customers including technical and nontechnical staff, management, and vendors
•Lead application related operational projects, as needed
