 | Job Description |
 | Under supervision, performs responsible clerical and related work with some latitude for independent judgment. The Clerical Associate will be responsible for the following: • Perform responsible clerical work in various administrative and operational areas by processing, recording, checking and maintaining records, furnishing information, and preparing reports. • Provide administrative support, office management, contract management and clerical duties including but not limited to scanning documents, photocopying, filing, and general organization. • Prepare transmittals, cover sheets, and other materials. • Check documents and records for accuracy of information and for conformity with established policy and procedure. • Respond to telephone inquiries and refer or transfer callers to appropriate staff. • Coordinate Business Law Unit work flow by assisting in the maintenance of the Business Law Unit work status database and receiving, inputting and delivering assigned tasks to staff attorneys. • Provide support to Business Law Unit attorneys. • Assist in the maintenance of staff schedules including the scheduling of meetings. • Act as a liaison and interact with other units and divisions of ACS and with other municipal agencies. • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of an office supply inventory and order supplies as needed. • Prepare periodic statistical reports. • Perform routine data processing functions. • Act as a liaison and interact with vendors as requested. • Process vendor invoices as requested. |

 | Minimum Qual Requirements |
 | Qualification Requirements A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience. Skills Requirement Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute. |

 | Knowledge of or background in government procurement; Detail and results oriented; Excellent interpersonal and oral communications skills; Professional attitude; Ability to work independently and as a team player.
This position is open only to permanent candidates currently serving in the civil service title of Clerical Associate, Level II or III. |
