Our CS team ensures prompt and courteous handling of customer inquiries in the following areas to provide a seamless customer experience, accurate, timely communication and superb customer satisfaction:
- services such as repair, maintenance, delivery or pickup
- billing
- any other customer concerns
- Responding to customer inquiries
- Receiving, checking-in and validating all new sale and lease agreements
- Pursuing correction of errors or missing information on lease and sale agreements
- Obtaining required supporting documentation, including but not limited to proof of insurance, tax exemption documents, credit applications, personal guarantees, and etc.
- Ongoing follow-up with customers, salespersons and other field personnel as needed
- Data entry of contract into the lease or sale servicing system(s)
- Maintaining originations documents in an electronic format readily accessible to the entire business
- Maintaining process statistics and open items to ensure all cycle time metrics are met
ModSpace Customer Service Specialists must have:
- A college degree OR equivalent related experience
- 2 years' prior customer service or collection experience required
- Commercial environment preferred
- Keen listening skills and the ability to persuade others
- Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment or as an individual contributor
All ModSpace team members must have:
- PC Proficiency in a Windows environment with MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills

The primary function of the Customer Service Specialist role is to ensure prompt handling of service, billing and miscellaneous incoming calls for our organization.

- Respond to all incoming customer inquiries and handle according to type of call
- Receive, check in and validate all new sale and lease agreements
- Pursue correction of any errors and obtain any missing information on lease and sale agreements
- Follow up for any needed supporting documentation, including but not limited to proof of insurance, tax exemption documents, credit applications, personal guarantees, and etc.
- Complete data entry of contract into the lease or sale servicing system(s)
- Scan, image and/or save all originations documents in an electronic format readily accessible to the entire business
- Maintain process statistics and track open items to ensure all cycle time metrics are met
- Ongoing follow-up with customers, salespersons and other field personnel as needed to resolve open matter relating to origination packages
- Other special projects, as required
Requirements:
- College Degree or equivalent related experience
- Minimum 2 years prior customer service or collection experience required, preferably in a commercial environment but consideration will be given an applicant with consumer collection or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office environment, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint with demonstrated accuracy at 35-40 keyboarding speed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Attention to detail
- Keen listening skills and ability to persuade others
- Ambitious, goal-orientated and self-motivated
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment or as an individual contributor
