Logistics Account Manager – Des Moines:
Looking to get in on the ground floor with a logistics company expected to double in size to more than 100 employees by next year? Utilize your experience as a dispatcher, freight broker, account manager, or logistics coordinator to take your career to the next level. The ideal account manager candidate will have at least one year of experience in dispatching, freight brokering, or logistics as well an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be results orientated team player.
Successful candidates in this role have typically come from dispatcher, freight broker, or logistics background. Typical account manager duties include but are not limited to:
-Developing the existing carrier base by building relationships
- Booking available loads based on commitment and required needs
-Leveraging loads that come to and from other markets to build relationships
An account manager will enjoy a base salary up to $35K plus a potentially lucrative commission structure as well as a competitive benefits package. The ideal account manager will also enjoy a casual work environment plus inheriting existing accounts to help ease the transition in this role.
