Marketing Analyst – Advertising Strategy Lead
As an Advertising Strategy Lead, you’ll be a key contributor to our overarching marketing strategy, influencing strategic messaging discussions and content in our advertising efforts. You will work closely with our market research team to determine what messages resonate strongest with our target customer, and will develop new advertising claims with our product and experience teams. You’ll coordinate with key leaders in media and marketing to determine which ads will be produced and in which campaigns. Working closely with our research and development group, you’ll determine future advertising needs and help prioritize future product features based on their potential advertising value. Additionally, you’ll review past research, knowledge and results to create guidelines that ensure our advertising efforts are effective.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed to Be Successful:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Statistics (or related field of study preferred); or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
· Master's degree preferred
· 8+ years business experience
· In-depth knowledge of business processes and systems
· Proven computer skills including MS Office with demonstrated skills in Excel including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets
· Advanced skills in Excel with knowledge of spreadsheet functionality including v-lookups, pivot tables, charts and graphs
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to tell stories rooted in data – comfortable in powerpoint/keynote
· Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Strong data management skills
· High level of professional and technical expertise
