We’re looking to hire folks who are enthusiastic about technology, the web and who have a desire to gain experience in a startup environment.
You should be interested in, and comfortable with, digging into the underlying details of issues and creating technical solutions where necessary. Our ideal candidate will hit the ground running and be prepared to make a big impact in a fluid environment.

This role will start with an up-to-12-month contract, full-time, at 40 hours per week. There may be room for growth for the right person, both in terms of hours and length of contract.
Key responsibilities
- Work with a small, tight-knit team to support a large community of publishers and commenters with inquiries and technical issues
- Troubleshoot new issues and deliver alternative solutions, while communicating bugs to the rest of our team
- Stay current on product updates and provide quality support at a fast pace
- Iterate on documentation, processes, and to provide quality support
- Translate user feedback into actionable product insights
- Open to working weekends in order to maintain Disqus's support standards
What we’re looking for:
- An outstanding communicator: you have a proven passion for technology and the web, and you aren't shy about it!
- An empathetic customer advocate: you embrace the challenge of turning an angry customer into a loyal fan.
- A quick learner: you will evolve early learnings into efficient and effective support processes.
- Technically: you have a knowledge of APIs and other data services, a basic understanding of how programming works, and you know how to quickly debug CSS/HTML/JS on multiple browsers.
