Job: Retail Lending Training Specialist - Retail Lending Department

Writes and revises training curriculum and effectively delivers material to centralized underwriters, funders and retail lenders to improve organizational, team and individual performance and productivity. Partners with the Professional Development Group on systems and soft skill training. Partners with various organizational management to ensure collaboration and effective communication amongst all delivery and receiving channels. Assists with the daily front line supervision and leadership of staff to include call monitoring, coaching and ensuring all KPIs and standards are met.  Responsible for the compliance of Retail Lending staff with the applicable federal and state laws governing fair lending practices and compliance with loan polices and procedures. Supports an environment that focuses on the Credit Union’s mission, vision and core values. Two years Training-related experience required. Prior lending experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Requires mature judgment, excellent communication,interpersonal, organization and facilitation skills, PC skills, including Microsoft Applications, and proofreading skills. Must be able to read, speak and write English. Spanish-speaking is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and sit for extended periods of time at a computer using repetitive keystrokes.  Some bending and stretching will also be required.
