The plant operates from a 130,000 sq. ft. facility, and has 70-million square feet of monthly production capacity.  Originally built in 1954, the Seattle plant has serviced an ever-expanding market in western Washington, British Columbia, Alaska and Hawaii.  The markets for our boxes include wine and beverage, fish, meat and poultry, food processors, and fresh produce.  High-end graphics and point-of-purchase requirements are a large part of our business mix. KapStone’s Seattle plant is one of a network of well-equipped corrugated container plants we own throughout the United States. External Description:
Job Purpose:
Under general supervision responds to customers' needs to ensure they receive the best service possible through processing of orders, preparing general correspondence, and coordinating with other functions as required. Acts as customer contact regarding pricing, availability, scheduling, and shipping. Resolves problems and communicates decisions to appropriate internal departments and customers.

Essential Duties and Functions:
  • Researches and resolves customer questions or complaints.
  • Manages backlog and inventory by reviewing and monitoring order status reports.
  • Coordinates and processes orders in conjunction with Sales, Customers, Production, and Shipping.
  • Orders and checks-in required print plates.
  • Prepares formal quotes and cost requests.
  • Maintains customer relations and appropriate documentation, gaining an overall understanding of the customer's business and key processes.
  • Other various duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
  • 1-3 yrs of related experience
  • HS Diploma required
  • Knowledge of Axiant, Microsoft Office and KIWIplan preferred'
