Advertised Summary Job DescriptionThe Columbia University Library Information Technology Office (LITO) seeks a Field Operations Coordinator to join its team. Reporting to the Head of LITO Technical Support, the incumbent will be responsible for:

-Installing new computer systems, software, computer upgrades and related peripherals as assigned;
-Testing, analyzing and troubleshooting hardware and software applications, and performing level II repair diagnostics;
-Performing on-site scheduled and emergency repairs, upgrades and updates as required
-Providing remote and on-site customer service;
-Assisting the Head of Technical Support with documentation, procedures, record keeping and training as required;
-May be responsible for supervising 1-2 student/casual employees

Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant
Bachelor's degree and knowledge of Windows desktop systems and hardware or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be able to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong service orientation and good communication skills are essential.
