Marketing Team Member Position Description
GiFTgive is looking for an person who enjoys (and is skilled at) writing and social media for business to join our startup in Norcross. The marketing team member is responsible for working with our marketing team to generate compelling, market-relevant content at a quick and steady pace and helping with the repurposing of that content on our blog and social media.  The right candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong team orientation, while being able to diligently work independently on multiple projects at once.  The candidate should be familiar with Wordpress and social networks and social media including Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube.

The position will be responsible for:
  • Producing and sourcing exceptional written content that will be widely shared and positively commented on in the form of blog posts, social comments, e-newsletter, white papers, etc. on a daily basis.
  • Effectively working with all social media outlets, as well as proactively evolving our social media strategy.
  • Talking with customers
  • General office duties and other special projects
  • Absorbing and documenting our office culture so that it is potently expressed to the world.
  • Driving our culture forward in a positive manner by having fun and treating everyone here as a member of their own family
  • Working well with others, both within and outside the team. 

The ideal candidate will have the skills and talents we are looking for:
  • Solid writing skills, preferably from journalistic, media or marketing class work
  • Experience with social media for business and a good working knowledge about their concepts and usage.
  • Superior communication and organization skills.
  • High comfort level with new media and internet technologies.
  • Exceptional drive and determination to complete assignments with the upmost quality and when promised
  • Experience with nonprofits is a plus
