Job: Project Manager Part Time

Addresses of Distinction is currently hiring for a part time Project Manager / Purchasing Manager position to support our growing customer base. We are looking for a candidate who has impeccable interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, extremely organized and a desire to further their career with a fantastic company.
Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for the full lifecycle of a project; from receiving a purchase order to completing the final installation.
 
Duties include, but not limited to
• managing the supply chain, ordering for inventory and projects
• submitting purchase orders
• cost analysis
• change orders
• price negotiations and communications with the customer.
• training future employees
• providing performance status reports regarding safety, cost forecast and schedule
• management of all change orders, including  negotiating processing and assessing cost and schedule impact
• ensuring project profitability through constant oversight of project productivity
 
Requirements
- Meet core values of company: Supportive, Self-Starting, Positive
- Energetic personality and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Effective multi-tasker
- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer proficiency a must, especially email, MS Office, and project manager & purchase order management softwares
- 2-5 years project management experience - IT Project Management a plus!
- Strong ability to use IT to solve business problems!

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in project management or purchasing
- Payroll and general ledger purchasing experience mandatory
- Experience using purchasing software and/or quickbooks

- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient with email and MS Office

Preferred: 4 years Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Management, Building Science, Construction Management, or Industrial/Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
