Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Full Time, Monday - Friday with Call

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing the patient care of assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the PACU Department. The PACU RN performs duties of the pre- and post-patient assessment, review of history, pre-op teaching, discharge planning and review of diagnostic studies with appropriate follow-through and physician consultation. Maintains advanced total body system assessment skills and advanced technology training, including dysrhythmia. Assesses and prepares patients/families/significant others for discharge.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to designated area within probationary period.
- Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
