Job Description:
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (ENCINITAS) INPATIENT - CASUAL DAYS
The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist''s respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. Performs competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools. Demonstrates age specific care as established for area and job title.
Basic Qualifications (Required): Graduate of accredited school of occupational therapy (BS or MS degree). Current occupational therapy license in State of California.
Minimum Qualifications (Required): Ability to perform all baseline clinical therapy interventions and coordinate all aspects of patient care. Effective interpersonal, communication, organizational & time management skills. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required by start date.
Preferred Qualifications: Recent experience preferred.
