SENIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST
This position requires a senior level individual with proven capacity to lead the design and development of enterprise data warehouse business intelligence applications. The position reports to the Manager of Business Intelligence. This role will also work closely with DSW project managers on project assignments. Individual will mentor and provide direction to other development team members where appropriate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Creates a robust, sustainable enterprise data warehouse business intelligence and CRM system architecture that supports requirements and provides expansion capabilities.
* Validates data load and transformation
* Work with the business on requirements investigation and development of functional and technical reporting requirements documentation
* Estimate all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle as they relate to reporting and analytics
* Ensures that all reports are developed and delivered timely and accurately
* Maintains existing users and new users permissions for all reports
* Work both internally and with the business to ensure that all information is accurate on all reports
* Support of existing and prior developed reports across the various business units
* Provide reporting architecture and strategy documentation
* Provide reporting environment Capacity planning analysis
SKILLS:
* Strong Business Objects development, administration, and infrastructure knowledge
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* SQL knowledge preferred
* Teradata knowledge preferred
EDUCATION:
* 4 Year BA BS in Computer Science, MIS or Business Administration
EXPERIENCE:
* 5+ years of Business Objects experience
* 2+ years of report requirements development & estimation
* 1+ years of Teradata experience
