P2 Energy Solutions seeks a QA Analyst for our Houston office. This QA Analyst position is responsible for working in a diverse, demanding computing environment which requires strong analytical ability, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills. The QA Analyst primarly will conduct manual functional testing on P2 Energy Solutions' applications.

P2 Energy Solutions seeks a QA Analyst for our Houston office. This QA Analyst position is responsible for working in a diverse, demanding computing environment which requires strong analytical ability, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
- Generate and update test plans that validate the implementation of specifications and uses cases.
- Conduct graphical user interface (GUI), functionality workflow, stress, performance, regression, integrated, and installation testing on assigned products for releases.
- Learn and apply P2 development methodology
- Develop automated regression test scripts workflows
- Conduct manual testing on Tobin Land Suite and Tobin Enterprise Land products
- As needed, assist with testing other P2 applications
- Participate in requirements reviews of new features to convert them to comprehensive test
- specifications
- Review user documentation and online help files for accuracy.
- Participate in weekly product & QA meetings
Requirements
- Strong computer skills and understanding of computer principals
- Detail orientated
- Analytical thinker
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Management Information Systems, IT, Land Management or a Geosciences-related field preferred.
- Strong computer skills and understanding of computer principals.
