The QA Analyst primarly will conduct manual functional testing on P2 Energy Solutions' applications.

P2 Energy Solutions seeks a QA Analyst for our Houston office. This QA Analyst position is responsible for working in a diverse, demanding computing environment which requires strong analytical ability, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
  • Generate and update test plans that validate the implementation of specifications and uses cases.
  • Conduct graphical user interface (GUI), functionality workflow, stress, performance, regression, integrated, and installation testing on assigned products for releases.
  • Learn and apply P2 development methodology
  • Develop automated regression test scripts workflows
  • Conduct manual testing on Tobin Land Suite and Tobin Enterprise Land products
  • As needed, assist with testing other P2 applications
  • Participate in requirements reviews of new features to convert them to comprehensive test
  • specifications
  • Review user documentation and online help files for accuracy.
  • Participate in weekly product & QA meetings  

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and understanding of computer principals
  • Detail orientated
  • Analytical thinker
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Management Information Systems, IT, Land Management or a Geosciences-related field preferred.

30 hours/week. Must be available to work Monday through Friday, with availability from 7:00am to 9:00pm. Schedule will be set closer to start date.

This is an open ended position, with the start and end time being determined by work flow.

An Operations Clerk position is the first step in a rewarding career in financial services. You'll learn about the world of cash and deposit processing within the financial services industry. This is a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline driven production environment working behind the scenes with little, if any, customer contact. In this role you'll spend 100% of your time working on tasks such as receiving, processing, and verifying deposits. You will also use specialized equipment and fulfill cash and coin orders based on requests received from our branch offices and retail business customers. This position has strict production metrics that determine acceptable levels of performance and require that all cash must be accounted for on the day it is received. There are also strict deadlines requiring flexibility of schedule, as this is an open-ended position with the start and end time being determined by work flow. The best Operations Clerks demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to follow procedures, and basic computer knowledge. They have the desire and motivation to constantly improve their ability to perform each function quickly and accurately. While the dress code is casual, the Operations Clerks work in an extremely secure facility under constant video surveillance.
 
Basic Qualifications
6+ months experience with meeting deadlines and attention to detail or quality.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout shift.
